TRASH THE DRESS

Okay, this idea is really fascinating, romantic, extremely beautiful, and very cool. Yes, I know, I shouldn't use the work "cool" but well - look at it yourself:

Welcome to Trash the Dress
"Go ahead, you know you want to. Trash it. Get it dirty. Get it wet. Roll around in the mud. Drench it in the ocean. Totally trash it.
Why? … Why not? You’ve made a commitment to your husband. He’s your one and only. You’ll never need it again. Trust me, your daughter won’t wear it in 20-30 years. So you have two choices:
1) Suffocate it in plastic and throw it in a closet
2) Show your husband how commited you are by trashing the dress, and get some great fun pictures while you do it!
Then after you do it - send the pictures to us to publish for all the world to see. What are you waiting on? Call one of the trusted photographers on the mentioned page or find one you trust and go trash the dress!"

And if you are horrified by the idea I would like to point you to two posts:
So what constitutes a trashing? + comments
Trash Talk + comments (opinions on the idea)

The "godfather" of the idea with a beautiful website: John Michael Cooper

And here are some pix - I would like to point out that none of them belongs to me and I don't intend to cause any violation on copyright. They were all taken off the site of www.trashthedress.com and belong to the various photographers on it. Take it as an additional free advertisement by me and a admirative contribute to their art work. Where I could find the links to the larger picture on the artists site or somewhere else I have included the link which is going to open in another tab/windew if you click on the photo.
